Question by sge: why do some parents give birth to children of the same sex only?

I have seen some parents giving birth to only boys or only girls. this has even caused family feuds where mostly the mother is to blame for this, and in serious cases the father can take another wife. why is giving birth to same sex off springs happen and is there a way to balance it?
